Tamam is a swedish non-profit organization helping kids and adolescents with a migration background to get along better in the foreign community.
The design was done by Andreas Ragnarsson. I transformed the colorful artwork into a website with a multitude of functionalities. Apart from writing the html and css code I also introduced a custom-made content management system to update various parts of their website.
Animations are carried out with jQuery and the calendar and blog are updated asynchronously using ajax and json.

The new website for the Jailhouse Cookies, a Lund/Malmö based Swingband.
The site is built on a custom made CMS where the band members can upload new songs, news and pictures. Guestbook entries first have to be accepted by an administrator before they appear on the site. I also implemented a spam reduction method.
Furthermore there is a picture gallery and some other jQuery animations as well as a CSS imagemap.

Afroperkussion is a percussion school located in Basel, Switzerland.
The brand new website was designed to express the rhythm of the music. I first took pictures of a percussion lesson which I then used within the website. The various instruments are used as eye-catchers and icons for the different pages.
I also did some search engine optimization and integrated Google Maps.
My former blog
My old blog suffered the fate lots of blog suffer these days. They die young after just a few months. Rest in peace bloggy. But your death shall not be in vain.

A 3-dimensional animation of the signaltransduction in a neuron. It shows both the structure of a neuron and the path of the signal. Made with Cinema4D and Flash. At every stop-point one can click on certain areas and get additional information.

There are four main things that drive me when it comes to web design and web development:
Appearance counts on the web. One can easily lose customers with uninspired design or injudicious navigation.
I always try to write clean semantic code: It can easily be updated by anybody and it's a big help for visually impaired users and search-engines.
Because you can never know 100% what device, browser or screen resolution your visitors might have, it's important for me to not exclude visitors which use older browsers, slow internet-connections or have their javascript disabled.
I create custom-made content-management solutions for most of my projects.
Designing and developing websites involve a variety of techniques and software. Here's what I'm best at:
I have profound knowledge in both Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator: my preferred tools for designing.
Transferring the Design into HTML and CSS is done directly within the code without the help of graphical html editors.
I have created dynamic sites using raw PHP and to the PHP-framework CodeIgniter.
I prefer jQuery animations. But I also have created various Flash-movies
Apart from web design I'm a photographer and painter.
